The Very Best Doulas are based in Washington State in the Pacific Northwest. We support families across 5 counties: Whatcom, Skagit, Island, Snohomish and N. King. We are invested in helping families navigate their birthing choices, labor support, and postpartum care exactly where they are at.

WE ARE SEEKING…
Doulas, and those desiring to become Doulas who have the skills, experience and understanding of actively listening, respecting and honoring their client’s voice, while attuning to the needs of each family’s birth and recovery journey.
Birth Doulas: you will be working in teams of two, both as primary Doulas for each family, allowing for sustainable scheduling, collective knowledge, and collaborative exceptional client-centered care.
Postpartum Doulas: we schedule care for families in their homes for 6hrs daytime shifts, and 8-10 hrs overnight shifts. We also provide live-in support scheduling and shifts for birthing persons during extended hospital stays. You have full flexibility on your availability.
All team members are independent contractors with 1099’s.
Training and certification is required.
